Family Package

Take the family on one of the world’s great railway journeys.

Running from Queenstown to Strahan the 35 km West Coast Wilderness Railway is a wonderful experience. The steam-drawn train leaves from the station opposite the Mt Lyell Hotel and a motorcoach returns you to that point. (At times your journey may be in the reverse direction.)

The Package includes:

1. Tourist class travel on the West Coast Wilderness Railway Queenstown to Strahan and motorcoach return transfer, for two adults and two children (4–14 years).
2. Overnight accommodation for 2 nights in a Mt Lyell Family Room, providing two interconnecting rooms with shared bathroom.
3. Full cooked breakfast in the Mt Lyell Motor Inn Restaurant both mornings.

Cost

$682 per family in high season (1 October 2009 to 30 April 2010)

$575 per family in regular season (1 May to 30 September 2010)
